Biden Should Have Planned The Withdrawal Of Troops Properly- Reno Omokri Reacts To The Crisis In Afghanistan by uk   2021-08-18 05:37:47 (said):
Reno Omokri has taken to social media to fault the Biden administration on how they carried out the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan after 21 years in the country.

Reno explained that Biden lacks accurate leadership skill with the way he deserted Afghanistan as his predecessor, Donald Trump wouldn’t have done such a move to leave $83 billion worth of military training and hardware behind in the country.

He wrote: Nobody is arguing that America had to leave Afghanistan after 20 years. Not Trump or Biden. The American public is 75% in support of withdrawal. You are having the wrong argument. What people are arguing about is the manner of withdrawal. It was chaotic, shambolic and betrayed a lack of leadership.

If you know you are going to withdraw, you plan for it. You withdraw all but emergency personnel months before your deadline. You retain military advisors. You evacuate sensitive military hardware. You have elite forces with the President to give him confidence being that he is a civilian.

A situation where the whole thing collapses as quickly as it does, with $83 billion worth of military training and hardware now in the hands of the Taliban is a leadership failure. The terror threat in Afghanistan today is greater than what it was 20 years ago.

The Taliban smelt Biden’s weakness and bit. Biden said he accepts responsibility. Then he went on to blame Trump, the Afghan government and armed forces, and intelligence failure. What type of taking responsibility is that? To blame others?
