Former Deputy Senate President Mantu Laid To Rest In Abuja (PHOTOS) by uk   2021-08-18 05:48:58 (said):
Ibrahim Mantu, the former Deputy Senate President, was buried in Abuja in the early hours of Tuesday, August 17.

Prayers for the deceased were performed in the Sheikh Khalid mosque in Abuja, where family members, friends, and political allies had gathered.

Some of the dignitaries who showed up at the funeral are Dimeji Bankole, the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, and Rabiu Kwankwaso, the former governor of Kano State.

His remains was consigned to the grave at the Gudu Cemetery in Abuja.

Away from the burial of Ibrahim Mantu, Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Igboho was reported to have been locked in chains by the Beninese police to stop him from turning into a cat and escaping custody according to one of his lawyers.

Recall that Sunday Igboho was arrested while trying to flee with his wife in a neighboring country.

When Olusegun Falola arrived at the custody where Igboho was being held, he was first bound in chains. According to Falola, the police officers were afraid that because of his mystical abilities, he may simply vanish into thin air.

The lawyer said;

“When I arrived from Paris and got to the custody where Igboho was detained, he was first chained. They were scared that he could just disappear into the thin air because of his mystical powers.

“The police told me that if Igboho’s chains were untied and he escaped mysteriously, he (the police officer) would be stripped of his rank and also dismissed.

“The police officer said he was told that Igboho could disappear or turn into a cat, and many other things were said to the police officers which made them tie him.”
